  • Rainbow passives — at least one of the five mutation-exclusives (Babysitter, Heavily Armored, Immortality, Idiosyncratic, Skymarcher), with the rest inherited from the parents. Guides disagree on whether it's "1 guaranteed + inherited" or "2–4 rainbow," so read any "always two" claim as the conservative floor.

Two practical notes. First, legendaries bred with themselves have a known mutation outcome: community testing reports a legendary self-pair mutates into Aegidron, which makes that particular farm much more predictable once you have the pair. Second, mutation passives can be bred onto other Pals from a mutated carrier — they're not stuck on the mutation line.
